Another restaurant quickie review – Pancake House – GVR
We stopped at the Original Pancake House in GVR on our way to use up $578 in R.C. Willey Awards cash at their Henderson store.. We’ve eaten here 3 or 4 times now and I’d have to say this was the last time. Very mediocre food and once again the over medium eggs were quite runny. Sent them back and although they were better they still were slightly runny. I Hate runny eggs. The small side if sausage patty was horrible. Wifes bacon was good though. Their coffee is drinkable.
The only good meal I ever had here was the Baked apple pancake and that was delicious.
Both of us had the Grandparents special. $6.19 or 6.29 for 3 pancakes, 2 eggs, and choice of meat (I think it was only bacon or sausage).

Except for one thing, I don’t like the place at all.
That one thing is their potato pancakes, among the very best I’ve ever had.
Not too thick, soft in the middle, golden and crispy on the edges.
Some eat them with apple sauce or sour cream, but I have them with ketchup
and Sweet N Low.
