I don’t mind being the tour guide, but for the most part the job is
superfluous. There is just so much to see and do in Vegas that people
generally just follow their noses and never are at a loss.

What I have done is steer them away from places that are not worth
wasting their time with like the New Frontier or Imperial Palace.

Trying to coach a bunch of newbies on the correct way to play BJ or
craps can get awfully tiring, but is fun at first.

Just keep your cellphone on and be prepared to answer questions.
