Minus 5 – The “coolest” new bar on the strip!

Just when you’ve seen it all, Las Vegas surprises us again with an amazing new bar called Minus 5. This is a bar where the entire bar is kept a -5 degrees Celsius or 23 degrees Fahrenheit. The entire place is an entire freezer!

You can experience this awesome place for a $30 ticket, for a 30 minute stay. Admission includes one drink, alcoholic or non. The place was built out of 150 giant blocks of ice, each weighing in about 265 pounds apiece. The bar is made of ice, the glasses are pure ice, the floor is ice. You have to wear a giant fur coat while you’re in there or you’ll become part of the bar permanently!

The Minus 5 is located in Mandalay Place right between the Mandalay Bay casino and the Luxor Resort. It is open from 10am to 3am. Its one of the hottest spots on the strip right now so check it out before it melts.
